György Bőgel

Prof. Dr. György Bőgel is Professor of Management at CEU Business School, Budapest, Hungary.

He started his professional career as a management consultant, served as Deputy Director and Associate Professor at the Management Development Centre of Budapest University of Economic Sciences in the nineties. He joined KFKI Computer Services Group as the personal strategic consultant of the group’s chairman in 2001. Representing KFKI, he taught courses on information society, corporate strategy and management on various university programs. He started to teach Action Learning, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Intrapreneurship, and other courses on management at CEU Business School in an adjunct position from 2001, got full-time appointment in 2005.

He teaches on the MBA programs but 50% of his time is devoted to company projects and research. He is the author of 11 books and 120+ journal articles on business strategy, development of the ICT sector, innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

Dorota Jelonek

Dr. hab. Dorota Jelonek is a professor of Management and currently the Vice Dean of Science at the Faculty of Management at the Czestochowa University of Technology. She started work at the Faculty of Management in 1994 as an assistant. In 2000 year received a PhD degree. PhD research topic was "Modeling of Information Resources for Enterprise Environment Monitoring System". Dorota Jelonek holds her habilitation in Economic Theory at the Faculty of Management, Information Science and Finances, Wroclaw University of Economics in 2011 year. Habilitation study focused on the “Strategic Alignment Between Environment Monitoring and Information Technology in a Company. A Methodological and Empirical Study”. She has been the chairman of the team responsible for e-learning implementation in Czestochowa University of Technology since 2012 year.

She is the author of 3 books, editor of 6 books. In addition, she is the author or co-author of 130 articles in Polish and foreign journals and book chapters. She participated in over 80 conferences in many research centers. Her scientific and research interests focus on solving problems related to the implementation of management information systems in enterprises, improving management information processes, and computer-assisted monitoring of the business environment.

She is a Member of Informing Science Institute (ISI) and she is a Member of the Board of Scientific Society of Economic Informatics.

 

József Lehota

Prof. Dr. József Lehota is Doctor of Economics at Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor of Marketing at Szent István University, Hungary, Gödöllő, Leader of Management and Business Administration PhD School. He is president of Agricultural Marketing Sub-Commitee at Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Representative of DSc in IV.Section of Agricultural Science at Hungarian Academy of Sciences, member of Agricultural Section at Hungarian Scholarship Board Office, members of editorial boards (3 english and 4 hungarian scientific journals)

He is author or co-author of 184 scientific publications and articles (including 14 scientific books, 46 passages in book, 64 scientific articles, more than 240 scientific citations). He has been participated in 36 hungarian and international research programs. He has supervised 21 PhD students and dissertations, and he is supervising 8 PhD students.

Fields of scientific interest: sector competitiveness, market orientation, sustainability marketing.

 

László Szerb

Prof. Dr. László Szerb is full professor at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics and the Director of the Institute of Business Administration, and has been a visiting professor in many countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, the U.K. and the U.S. He is the founder of The GEDI Institute and along with Dr. Zoltan J. Acs the founder of the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI) that is the first tool to track entrepreneurship and economic development in the global economy. Since 2001, Szerb has served as a member of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor secretariat. He is the editor in chief in the Hungarian Marketing and Management Journal and associate editor of Small Business Economics a leading academic journal.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Szerb has conducted research and published works that qualify and quantify the factors that result in economic growth and high-impact entrepreneurship the world over. Most recently he is dealing with the measurement of small business competitiveness. His publications include 42 journal articles (including Research Policy, Small Business Economics, Economic Letters, Economic Inquiry, European Economic Review, Regional Studies, Venture Capital) 14 books and 17 book chapters. His research is regularly cited in many countries in over 1 100 academic publications (Google Scholar).

 

Elena Horska

Prof. Dr. Ing. Elena Horska is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, professor at the Department of Marketing.
Her main research orientation includes internationalization within and beyond EU borders, identifying opportunities for doing business in neighbouring (Visegrad), European, less developed and emerging markets (focus agribusiness and agri-food market), consumer studies,  neuromarketing and visual merchandising.  

In 2011 she was a visiting professor at the Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research in New Delhi, India, in 2011 and 2012 a visiting professor at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Erasmus teacher in Finland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Ireland and CEEPUS teacher in Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Poland. She has been a successful project coordinator of 6 national or international research projects and 22 international educational projects (Grundtving, Jean Monnet, Leonardo da Vinci, Tempus, Mundus, Erasmus plus, Visegrad University Studies Grant). She is an author of more than 200 publications, including 6 national/international books for students, 10 national/international monographs published in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Spain, Romania and Croatia, and conference papers presented during the international conferences in Thailand, China, Malta, Ghana, Hungary, Crete, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Brasil, Indonesia, USA and Singapore. She is a coordinator of the double-degree program „Agrarian Marketing and Trade“ organized jointly with the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Academy in Moscow, Russia and a member of the European Accreditation Agency for the Life Sciences Board (with EAALS Secretariat in France).
